Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at D’HYÈRES.

We want you to love your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return your order in accordance with the policy below.

2. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Period)

If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order — no questions asked. At D'HYÈRES, we've extended this time frame to 30 days.

To exercise this right:

  • Notify us within 30 days of receiving your order by emailing info@dhyeres.com or visiting us in the store.

  • Include your order number / receipt and the items you wish to return.

  • You then have 14 days to send the item(s) back to us.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns.

The return shipping costs are at your own expense.

Returned items must be:

  • Unworn and undamaged

  • In their original pouch and box

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation)

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll refund you the full amount you paid for the product within 7 days, using the same payment method you used for purchase.

If an item shows signs of wear, damage, or use, we may reduce your refund proportionally to the loss of value, as permitted by Dutch law (Art. 6:230s(3) BW).


3. Extended Goodwill Return (100 Days)

In addition to your 30-day right of withdrawal, D’HYÈRES offers an extended goodwill return period of 100 days from the date of delivery.

During this extended period, you may return unworn and undamaged earrings in their original packaging for store credit or an exchange.

Store credit has no expiration date and can be used toward any future purchase.


4. Legal Warranty (Garantie)

All products sold by D’HYÈRES are covered by the legal warranty (wettelijke garantie) under Dutch and EU law.

This means your item must meet normal expectations for quality and usability.

If a product is defective or develops a fault within a reasonable time after purchase (normally six months, unless proven otherwise), we will repair, replace, or refund it free of charge.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use, accidents, or neglect

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Changes in appearance due to regular use (e.g., minor scratches or fading)

To submit a warranty claim, please email info@dhyeres.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the defect

  • A clear photo of the item showing the issue


5. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Worn or used earrings

  • Items returned in damaged or incomplete packaging

Returns that do not meet these conditions will be refused and sent back to the sender.


6. Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and approved, you will receive a confirmation email.
Refunds are processed within 7 days after we receive your returned item or proof of shipment.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
If your return is outside the 30-day statutory period, the refund will be provided as store credit.

Shipping costs paid for express or international delivery are non-refundable, unless the return concerns a defective or incorrect item.


7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us within 30 days of receipt at info@dhyeres.com with photos and your order number.

We will arrange a free replacement or full refund.
