All my life, I’ve spent holidays in the South of France. My family has roots spanning the globe. Yet, most of us gather for holidays in Hyères. 

Spending my childhood summers in Hyères meant that familiarity had dulled my appreciation for its beauty. However, after expanding my holiday horizons to what, for me, were uncharted territories, I was struck by the stunning landscapes—and the people—I encountered on a return trip to my family’s holiday home in Hyères. 

Inspired, I decided to bring a touch of Hyères with me back home to New York City.
